Model Call
This event saw over 150 models audition. My role was to help manage the flow of the casting process by escorting models in groups of 10 up and down the elevator, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I guided each group to the top floor for headshots, where models posed with their assigned numbers, and coordinated their cues to walk for the audition. A panel of critics and department professors were present to observe, evaluate, and provide feedback.
After the final models were selected, they were invited back for a two-hour training session led by industry professionals Stephen Adkins and Ryan Azia. During this intensive workshop, models received expert feedback and hands-on guidance to perfect their walk and stage presence. We also reviewed choreography to ensure every model was confident, synchronized, and fully prepared for the upcoming show.

Donors & VIPs
Each year, the VCUarts Fashion Show holds a special reception for Donors and VIPs, providing them with an exclusive opportunity to engage with students, faculty, and fellow supporters of the arts. I collaborated with Emily Campbell, Head of Alumni Relations, to make sure guests were guided to the reception and then escorted to their seats afterward.
Guides
As a member of the Front of House Committee, I played a key role in ensuring smooth operations while the museum was open to the public.
In preparation for the show, our committee conducted a training session for the event guides, outlining essential responsibilities and reviewing the timeline for both the dress rehearsal and the main event. The guides were crucial in managing crowd flow and directing guests to their seats, contributing to an organized and welcoming experience for all attendees.
